Long time, no see! The last four years have been busy as I pursued degrees from Duke University and got ready for post-grad life. (see my first official visit from my freshman year of high school here!).
Over ten years ago, I began this blog to share my love of etymology and I am eager to return to blogging with a deepened understanding and appreciation for the English language. This appreciation is something I have kept with me throughout my life — from a summer on Capitol Hill exploring citizen trust in government and how language affects political polarization, to navigating public policy problems as part of Henry Clay’s College Student Congress and learning to negotiate and compromise.
Most excitedly, I am looking forward to continuing my lifelong passion for arguing about the intricacies of the English language as I move towards law school.
